Description

Flat flange is also called “plate flange”, which is one of a variety of flanges, using different material classes, according to different standards of production. By welding with another flange or steel tube, flat flanges can be used for different purposes, such as closing a pipe or connecting a valve to another pipe. A flat flange has a flat surface that allows maximum contact with other parts connected to or through the flange in piping applications.
